Hilperton is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, lying just to the north-east of Trowbridge on the edge of the Kennet and Avon Canal. Its canal-side setting and surrounding farmland make it a pleasant spot for walking and cycling, while being within reasonable commuting distance of Bath and Bristol.
With medieval roots and close historical links to the cloth industry centred on nearby Trowbridge, the parish mixes older stone cottages and converted buildings with more recent housing. Locally there is an active community life - a primary school, village hall, pubs and clubs - and the canal and rural landscape help give the place a blend of village character and commuter practicality.
