Trowbridge Paxcroft is a largely residential part of Trowbridge in Wiltshire, sitting close to the town centre but with ready access to surrounding countryside. The housing is a mix of post‑war and more recent developments, and residents use local shops, schools and parks while still being within easy reach of the town’s amenities.
Like much of Trowbridge, the area bears the imprint of the town’s 18th–19th century woollen cloth and mill history and retains a broadly working‑class, socially mixed character with active community groups. Economically many people commute to nearby centres such as Bath, Bristol and Swindon, while local small businesses and services provide for everyday needs.
