Kington St. Michael is a small village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England, a few miles north of Chippenham. It sits amid the rolling farmland typical of north Wiltshire, with a compact core of lanes, period stone houses and a prominent parish church that gives the village much of its historic character.
Historically agricultural, the parish now combines farming with a number of residents who commute to nearby towns, while still retaining a strong local community spirit: a village hall, clubs and occasional fetes and events keep social life active. Much of the built environment is of 17th–19th century date and parts of the village are covered by conservation protections, so it feels quintessentially rural yet within reach of larger centres such as Bath and Bristol.
