Lydiard Tregoze is a small, mainly rural parish just west of Swindon in Wiltshire, England. Its landscape is dominated by Lydiard Park, a sweeping parkland with lakes and mature trees that provides a green lung on the edge of the town; surrounding fields remain largely agricultural and the settlement functions increasingly as a residential, commuter area for Swindon.
The focal point is Lydiard House, a well‑preserved country house that, together with nearby St Mary's Church, reflects the parish’s long manorial history and the influence of the St John family. The house and park are used for local events, concerts and heritage displays, so the area blends quiet historic charm with an active community and occasional cultural and recreational attractions.
