Hollywood is a suburban village in the district of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England, on the southern fringe of the West Midlands close to the city of Birmingham and neighbouring suburbs such as Rubery and Rednal. It sits near the Lickey Hills Country Park, offering wooded walks and good panorama that contrast with its mainly residential streets.
Originally named for the holly that once covered the local slopes, the area grew with 19th–20th century suburban expansion and is now largely a commuter settlement with local shops, pubs, churches and schools. Many residents travel to Birmingham, Worcester and Redditch for work, while the village retains a community feel and convenient road links.
