Badsey is a village and civil parish in the district of Wychavon, Worcestershire, England, lying just east of Evesham in the fertile Vale of Evesham on the floodplain of the River Avon. The landscape and soils have long favoured market gardening and horticulture; during the 19th century the village grew as family-run nurseries and vegetable growers expanded, leaving a legacy of Victorian terraces and the parish church of St James' Church.
Today Badsey retains a strong village identity with local clubs, community events and a continuing interest in horticulture alongside more diverse local businesses. Its proximity to larger towns and the Cotswolds gives residents countryside character with convenient access to regional services and markets.
