Llanbedrog is a small coastal village in Gwynedd, Wales, tucked on the southern side of the Llŷn Peninsula and looking out over Cardigan Bay. It’s known for a long sandy beach backed by a pine‑clad headland with panoramic views that on a clear day reach to Bardsey Island; the larger market town of Pwllheli lies a short drive away.
The village has a strong arts and holiday feel - the Victorian house Plas Glyn‑y‑Weddw is a well‑regarded gallery and performance space - and the local economy leans heavily on tourism, small shops, cafés and holiday accommodation. There’s a mixture of long‑term residents and seasonal visitors, active community groups and an interest in coastal management and conservation to protect the beach and cliffside that make Llanbedrog such a popular spot.
