The coastal village and civil parish of Llanbedrog lies on the south side of the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales, a few miles west of Pwllheli and overlooking Cardigan Bay. It is best known for a long sandy beach sheltered by a pine‑clad headland, an ancient parish church of St Pedrog and a Victorian promenade that reflect its development as a seaside community.
Today the local economy is largely driven by tourism and holiday homes, while a lively arts scene centred on the gallery house Plas Glyn-y-Weddw and a strong Welsh‑speaking community give the village a distinctive cultural feel. Outdoor pursuits such as walking, bird‑watching and sailing are popular, and residents balance conservation of the coastal landscape with the demands of seasonal visitors.
