Reach is a small fenland village and civil parish in East Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire, England, set amid the flat, drained landscape of the Fens. It sits beside historic waterways such as Reach Lode and close to the dramatic, ancient earthwork known as Devil's Dyke, with the cathedral city of Ely and the wetlands of Wicken Fen lying within easy reach.
The local economy has long been shaped by agriculture, fen drainage and peat working, while today the village mixes rural living with some tourism and commuting. Socially and culturally it is best known for the annual Reach Fair, one of England’s oldest surviving fairs, and a strong sense of community centred on village events, converted farm buildings and the quiet lanes typical of the Cambridgeshire fens, with many residents travelling to Ely or Cambridge for work.
