Manea is a small village and civil parish in the district of Fenland, within Cambridgeshire, England. It sits on the characteristically flat, reclaimed fenland where fields are divided by drains and dykes; the surrounding wetlands attract a variety of birdlife and give the area a quietly open, agricultural feel.
Historically shaped by fen drainage and peat working and later influenced by nineteenth‑century transport links, the local economy remains largely agricultural. Community life is centred on the village hall, the parish church and the local pub, and the parish retains a strong village identity with occasional nature‑watchers and walkers visiting the nearby fen habitats.
