Nether Haddon is a small, rural parish in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England, set in a limestone valley of the Peak District National Park not far from the market town of Bakewell. The landscape is shaped by steep limestone edges, dry‑stone walls and the nearby River Wye, making it a classic patchwork of pasture, woodland and winding lanes favoured by walkers.
The parish is dominated by the medieval Haddon Hall, a largely intact Norman and Tudor manor whose gardens, events and film work bring most of the visitor trade; estate farming and tenanted cottages also influence the local economy. Historic architecture, conservation stewardship and a small estate community give the area a strong sense of place while seasonal tourism provides an important boost to local livelihoods.
