Littleham is a small rural parish in Torridge, Devon, set on rolling farmland a few miles from the mouth of the River Torridge and the quay town of Bideford. Its landscape of hedged fields, small woods and winding lanes gives quick access to the sandy beaches and coastal paths of North Devon, making it quietly popular with walkers and birdwatchers.
Historically agricultural, the parish still centres on mixed farming and a scattering of traditional stone cottages and farmsteads; there is a long-established parish church and a modest community life with village events and a hall serving local residents. Listed buildings, old field patterns and ancient lanes hint at medieval origins, while many people now commute to nearby towns or work in the local tourist and service economy.
