Brandesburton is a small village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, set in gently rolling arable countryside a short drive from the Yorkshire coast. Its position gives it a rural feel while remaining within easy reach of market towns such as Beverley and Bridlington, and it lies close to the site of the former RAF Catfoss airfield, now home to light industry and commercial units.
The settlement has medieval roots and retains a historic parish church and a number of traditional buildings; agriculture remains important locally but is balanced by small businesses and commuters. Community life is active for a village of its size, centred on a village hall, local clubs and occasional fetes and events that reflect the strong local identity.
