Rawcliffe Bridge is a small village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, set in the flat, drained landscape of the Humberhead Levels and close to the rivers that feed the Humber estuary. It sits a short distance from the market port of Goole and has historically been shaped by the waterways and drainage systems that make the surrounding land suitable for arable and pasture farming.
