Warbleton is a small, largely rural parish in the Wealden district of East Sussex, set within the rolling landscape of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The parish is made up of scattered villages and greens such as Hurst Green, Rushlake Green and Bodle Street Green, and is characterised by patchwork farmland, ancient woodland, hedgerows and a network of footpaths that attract walkers and nature-lovers.
With medieval roots, the area retains a lot of traditional character in its flint and timber-framed cottages, small farms and historic buildings. Agriculture still shapes the local economy, though many residents commute to nearby towns; village halls, local pubs and community events keep a lively social scene, while conservation and listed buildings reflect the parish’s historic and environmental significance.
