Wotton-under-Edge

Wotton-under-Edge is a compact historic market town in the district of Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, sitting snugly below the steep rim of the Cotswold Edge. Its steep, narrow streets and honey‑coloured Cotswold stone buildings reflect a medieval and later cloth‑trading past, while the elevated position gives pleasant walks and views across the Severn Vale (and on a clear day as far as the Malvern Hills).
