Wigginton is a small rural parish in the borough of Dacorum, in western Hertfordshire, England. Nestled on the edge of the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a few miles from the market town of Tring, it combines rolling chalk downland, small woodlands and a scatter of historic cottages and farmsteads; the countryside makes it popular with walkers and riders while still offering reasonable road and rail access into London.
Historically agricultural, the village retains a strong sense of place with several listed buildings and a medieval parish church, and today is largely residential with a mix of long‑standing farming families, equestrian enterprises and commuters. Local life centres on the village hall, parish events and conservation-minded activities that help preserve the traditional character and landscape of the area.
