Seaview and Nettlestone are neighbouring villages on the northeast coast of the Isle of Wight in England. Seaview sits on the Solent with a long seafront and village green and a strong sailing tradition - yachting, dinghy racing and seasonal regattas shape much of local life - while Nettlestone, a little inland, has a quieter, more rural feel with lanes, small farms and a tight‑knit community around its church and village hall.
Both places grew from fishing and agriculture into Victorian and Edwardian holiday settlements, so you’ll see a mix of traditional cottages and larger seaside villas; today the local economy largely relies on tourism, second homes and leisure boating, and the area is prized for coastal walks, birdlife and easy access to the nearby ferry town of Ryde.
