Nonington is a small rural village and civil parish in the district of Dover, Kent, England, set on the rolling chalk of the North Downs a short drive south-east of Canterbury. The area is characterised by farmland, woodland and chalk grassland, giving the village a distinctly rural character while remaining within easy reach of the coast and nearby towns.
Historically agricultural, Nonington retains several notable buildings - most prominently the historic manor Nonington Court - and a medieval parish church that hint at its long past. Today the local economy is largely rural with a mix of commuters, and the village maintains a close‑knit community atmosphere with a village hall, local events and a primary school.
