Folkestone Harbour is a compact coastal ward at the foot of the chalk cliffs in Folkestone, facing the English Channel and lying within the district of Folkestone and Hythe in Kent, England. It clusters around the old Victorian harbour and seafront, with quick links westwards towards the Channel Tunnel corridor and east into the town centre.
The area has a strong maritime history - once a busy cross‑channel ferry hub - and in recent years has seen regeneration that blends heritage with a lively creative and leisure scene: the harbour arm, small galleries, cafés and fishing boats give it a mixed economic and social character, popular with locals and day visitors alike.
