Narborough is a large village and civil parish in the district of Blaby, Leicestershire, lying roughly seven miles south‑west of Leicester. It occupies lowland close to the River Soar and the well‑regarded wetland of Narborough Bog, with nearby towpaths and rail links providing easy walking routes and commuter access to larger centres.
With roots stretching back to the medieval period the village still has a historic parish church and a compact centre, but functions today largely as a commuter and local service hub with shops, small businesses and light industrial estates. Community life is active - sports clubs, annual events and volunteer groups feature strongly - while the combination of green spaces and transport links (including rail services towards Leicester and Birmingham) makes it popular with families and walkers alike.
