The twin villages of Kibworth Beauchamp and Kibworth Harcourt sit in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, England, about ten miles north‑east of Leicester and a few miles north‑west of Market Harborough. The two names reflect medieval landowning families, but locally they are treated as the Kibworths, straddling gently rolling Leicestershire countryside and commuter routes into the nearby towns.
Both villages have medieval roots and feature an attractive parish church and traces of old manor sites, and until the mid‑20th century the area was served by a station on the Great Central line. Today the Kibworths combine village character with modern amenities - active community groups, schools, shops, pubs, sports clubs and small businesses - and a keen interest in local history that keeps social and cultural life lively.
