South Acre is a very small rural parish in Breckland, Norfolk, England, lying a few miles west of Swaffham and immediately near the better-known village of Castle Acre. Set in the distinctive Breckland landscape of sandy soils, heaths and arable fields and close to the River Nar, it has a tiny population and few services, so residents generally rely on nearby towns for shops and schools.

Its history is medieval in origin and the parish is often enjoyed by walkers and history enthusiasts because of the proximity to Castle Acre with its castle and priory; the area contains old farmhouses, listed buildings and traces of earlier settlement. The local economy remains largely agricultural with some smallholdings and commuters, and the quiet lanes and historic character make it a good example of rural West Norfolk.
