Belaugh is a small, riverside village in the district of Broadland, Norfolk, England, sitting on the banks of the River Bure in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Its low-lying floodplain, reedbeds and wet meadows give it a very rural, waterside character and make it popular with birdwatchers, walkers and small-boat users; narrow lanes and quiet footpaths link the village to the surrounding countryside.
Historically a farming community, Belaugh retains a number of attractive historic buildings including a medieval parish church, and the local economy today mixes agriculture with tourism - holiday cottages, moorings and river-based leisure. The village has a small, close-knit social life with occasional church and community events, and lies a short drive from neighbours such as Acle and Horstead.
