Trimingham is a small coastal village on the North Norfolk stretch of Norfolk in England, sitting on cliffs above the North Sea between Cromer and Happisburgh. Its parish church near the cliff edge is a familiar local landmark and the shoreline of pebbles and small rock outcrops makes the spot popular with walkers, birdwatchers and a handful of surfers; like much of the coast here it has to manage ongoing issues of erosion and sea defences.
Locally the economy is a mix of agriculture and tourism, with holiday cottages and coastal walks drawing visitors during the summer months, while residents travel to nearby towns or to Norwich for wider services. The village’s quiet character and sweeping sea views are typical of this part of the North Norfolk coast.
