Ealand is a small village in North Lincolnshire, England, sitting on the low-lying Isle of Axholme and practically adjoining the larger village of Crowle. It lies beside the Stainforth and Keadby Canal and close to the River Don, a landscape shaped by historic drainage schemes that turned marshland into productive agricultural ground.
Historically the area grew up around waterways and land drainage, and today the local economy and community remain rooted in agriculture with canal-side leisure, angling and walking popular with residents. Many services and community activities are shared with neighbouring Crowle, giving Ealand the feel of a small, close-knit village with strong ties to its inland‑waterway heritage.
