Yatton is an electoral ward and large village in North Somerset, England, set on the edge of the low-lying Somerset Levels about ten miles west of Bristol. It sits beside the old Cheddar Valley line that is now the popular walking and cycle route known locally as the Strawberry Line, and retains a railway station on the Bristol–Weston-super-Mare line, which helps make it a commuter hub for the city.
The ward mixes historic buildings - notably the medieval parish church and several listed cottages - with agricultural land and modern housing; it has a strong community feel with village shops, schools and clubs, and a legacy of strawberry growing that gave the cycleway its name. Local life balances rural character and commuter pressures, with small businesses, light industry and regular community events keeping the area active.
