Dudley is a small, largely residential district within the metropolitan borough of North Tyneside in the North East of England. It lies a short distance inland from the North Sea and the River Tyne estuary, making it part of the wider commuter area for Newcastle upon Tyne and close to coastal towns such as Tynemouth and Whitley Bay.
