Hellifield is a small civil parish set on the western fringe of the Yorkshire Dales in North Yorkshire, England. It sits close to market towns such as Settle and Skipton and near the county boundary with Lancashire, with surrounding farmland and open moorland giving long views towards the Dales.
The settlement grew markedly in the 19th century as a railway junction on the Midland Railway, and its station on the Settle–Carlisle line remains a notable local landmark; railway facilities once shaped the local economy. Today agriculture, Dales-related tourism and commuting provide the economic backbone, while village clubs and events maintain a close-knit rural community; administratively it was historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire before mid-20th-century reorganisation.
