Hepple is a small village and civil parish in Northumberland, set in upper Coquetdale beside the River Coquet on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. The surrounding landscape is classic Northumbrian upland and pasture with drystone walls, open moor and good walking country.

Locally notable are the remains of a medieval pele tower, Hepple Tower, a reminder of the Borderlands past; today the area’s economy is largely agricultural (sheep and hill farming) supplemented by walkers and birdwatchers drawn to nearby Simonside Hills and the quiet rural character, with a small, close-knit community and a number of converted farm buildings.
