Dudleston Heath is a small village in north Shropshire, England, close to the border with Wales and within easy reach of the market town of Ellesmere. It occupies land that was once open heath, a landscape echoed in the village name, and lies amid the low-lying meres and wetlands that characterise the Ellesmere area; the flat, fertile soils have long supported mixed farming and smallholdings.
Today the local economy remains largely agricultural, with some residents commuting to nearby towns for work. The village retains a strong community feel, centred on its village hall, church and pub, and hosts occasional local events and clubs that reflect a quiet rural way of life and a history rooted in small-scale farming and settlement on the Shropshire plain.
