St. Martins is a small village in north Shropshire, England, lying close to the border with Wales and just a few miles from the market town of Oswestry. The setting is characteristically rural, with rolling farmland, hedgerows and easy access to waymarked footpaths that pick out the historic landscape of the Welsh Marches and the line of Offa's Dyke nearby.
Historically the village has been shaped by its borderland location and it retains a tight-knit community with a parish church, village pub and small local businesses alongside agricultural activity. Many residents commute to surrounding towns for work, while walkers and history enthusiasts are drawn by the peaceful countryside and the echoes of the Marches' past.
