Abbas and Templecombe is a small, rural parish in Somerset, England, centred on the village of Templecombe and the neighbouring hamlet of Abbas Combe. Set amid the rolling countryside of the Blackmore Vale, its name and some surviving buildings recall medieval ownership by Shaftesbury Abbey and later connections with the Knights Templar, giving the place a quietly historic feel.
Today the area remains largely agricultural with a mix of local services, pubs and small businesses, and benefits from a railway station on the West of England Main Line that links the parish to larger towns, making it part commuter village, part traditional country community with active local groups and seasonal events.
