Mudford is a small village and civil parish in Somerset, England, lying a few miles east of Yeovil on the fertile floodplain of the River Yeo. The parish comprises the village and surrounding farmland and hamlets, with a gently rolling rural landscape of pasture and orchards that belies its easy commuting links to larger towns.
With medieval roots, the village is still centred on its ancient parish church, St Mary's, and a handful of traditional stone cottages; community life revolves around local institutions such as the village hall and periodic village events. Agriculture remains important locally, but many residents work in industry and services in nearby Yeovil or at the nearby RNAS Yeovilton, giving Mudford a mix of historic charm and contemporary commuter living.
