West Quantoxhead is a small village in Somerset, England, perched on the western edge of the Quantock Hills with open views towards the Bristol Channel. It retains a quietly rural character, with lanes, cottages and a landscape of heathland and rolling farmland that attracts walkers and nature-lovers from nearby towns.
Historically the village grew up around a manor and estate - nearby St Audries Park is a notable local landmark - and today the local economy is largely agricultural with a healthy dose of tourism from walkers, holiday lets and country-house events. Socially it feels like a close-knit, conservation-minded community with easy access to larger centres for services.
