West Leigh is an electoral ward in the borough of Southend-on-Sea, covering the western side of the town of Leigh-on-Sea. It is largely residential, with a mix of Victorian and mid-20th-century housing, small shopping parades and pocket parks, and lies a short distance inland from the mudflats and promenades of the Thames Estuary.
