Fazeley is a compact town in the district of Lichfield, Staffordshire, England, sitting close to the edge of Tamworth and alongside the River Tame and the historic canal network. The nearby Birmingham and Fazeley and Coventry canals helped shape its growth during the 18th and 19th‑century industrial expansion, leaving a legacy of mills and waterways that still defines much of the local landscape.
Today Fazeley mixes older terraced streets and surviving industrial buildings with newer housing and local shops, schools and pubs, and is popular with commuters travelling to Birmingham and Lichfield. The canal towpaths and riverside walks remain valued recreational assets, and a modest community life centred on local clubs and events gives the town a distinct, village‑scale character.
