Little Waldingfield is a small village and civil parish in the district of Babergh, in rural Suffolk, England. It sits in the rolling farmland of south Suffolk, a short drive from the market town of Sudbury and neighbouring Great Waldingfield, and feels very much part of the county’s tapestry of hedgerows, lanes and arable fields.
The village has medieval roots and retains a number of traditional timber‑framed cottages and farm buildings, with a small parish church and community facilities that anchor local life. The local economy is largely agricultural with many residents commuting to nearby towns such as Colchester and Sudbury, and the social calendar typically revolves around village events, the hall and informal networks that keep a close‑knit feel.
