Langley Vale is a small, semi-rural neighbourhood on the southern edge of the borough of Epsom and Ewell in Surrey, England. It sits on the ridge of the North Downs, close to Epsom Downs Racecourse and Burgh Heath, and feels tucked away despite being only a short drive or rail journey from Epsom and London.
Historically rooted in agriculture, the area today is largely residential with a commuter population and easy access to open chalk grassland and woodland. A notable local feature is Langley Vale Wood, a recent community woodland and World War I centenary memorial that attracts walkers and wildlife, while race-day activity at the nearby Downs and services in Epsom shape much of the local economy and social life.
