Worplesdon is a semi-rural village and civil parish just north of Guildford in Surrey, England. The parish spreads across heathland and farmland, with notable green spaces such as Worplesdon Common and easy access to the North Downs at Newlands Corner, giving it a strong outdoorsy character.
Historically the community centres on the medieval St Mary's Church, while today it is largely residential with many commuters travelling to Guildford and London via Worplesdon railway station. Smaller settlements such as Jacobs Well and Wood Street Village retain village halls, pubs and clubs, and local life includes equestrian activity, country pursuits and active community groups.
