New Haw is a village in the borough of Runnymede, Surrey, England, lying where the River Wey meets the Basingstoke Canal. The waterside setting has left a legacy of locks, towpaths and former light industry, and its location in the borough ties it into the historic landscape surrounding Runnymede Meadow and the Magna Carta memorial.
Today New Haw is a largely residential, commuter-friendly community with some light industry and local shops, popular for canal-side walks, boating and angling. It benefits from nearby rail stations at Weybridge and West Byfleet for journeys into London, and has easy access to the motorsport and aviation heritage of Brooklands.
