Ketley is a suburban parish in the unitary borough of Telford and Wrekin in Shropshire, England, sitting on the rising ground to the east of The Wrekin. It combines pockets of older stone-built settlement with post-war and newer housing estates, local shops and light industrial units, and offers pleasant outlooks and footpath links into nearby woodlands and open countryside.
Historically the area shares the wider south Shropshire story of mining and iron-working and was absorbed into the development of Telford as a new town in the mid-20th century, which shaped its housing and employment patterns. Today it has an active local community with schools, clubs and community centres, and sits within easy reach of the industrial heritage around Ironbridge Gorge and the larger services and job market of the town centre.
