New Arley is a small village in the borough of North Warwickshire, in the county of Warwickshire, England. It sits on the edge of the rural Midlands but within easy reach of the larger urban centres of Coventry and Birmingham, so you get a mix of rolling countryside and commuter links to the West Midlands.
The village grew up as a coal‑mining community and that industrial past still shapes its character, even after the pits closed and the local economy shifted. Today New Arley feels like a typical post‑industrial village: largely residential, with local shops, a village hall and community groups, and a sense of retained heritage alongside new housing and people who travel into nearby towns for work.
