West Itchenor is a small coastal village and civil parish on the Manhood Peninsula in the district of Chichester, West Sussex, England, tucked on the eastern shore of Chichester Harbour. The harbour’s saltmarshes, mudflats and winding creeks form an attractive tidal landscape and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, prized by birdwatchers and walkers alike.
The settlement has a long maritime character, with a strong sailing culture, small boatyards and summer regattas alongside a compact historic core of flint and thatch buildings. It feels tucked-away and village-like, with modest local services, a close-knit community and plenty of seasonal visitors drawn by the scenery, watersports and coastal walks.
