Kington Langley is a small village and civil parish in Wiltshire, set in gently rolling chalk countryside a few miles from the market town of Chippenham. The lanes and hedged fields give a distinctly rural character, with a mix of stone and thatched cottages and some larger country houses clustering around a traditional village core.
Historically agricultural, the community now combines farming with a sizeable population who commute to nearby towns; many residents work in or travel to Chippenham or further afield to Bath and Bristol. Local life revolves around village institutions such as the parish church, village hall and community groups, and conservation-minded residents work to preserve the area’s historic buildings and landscape.
