Rudloe is a small village and residential area on the north‑west edge of Corsham in north Wiltshire, set in the rolling limestone countryside not far from Bath. It has a rural feel of stone cottages, lanes and remnants of the local quarrying landscape, while being within easy driving distance of the larger market towns and the A4.
The area is best known for the historic Rudloe Manor and for its long association with defence and communications - there was an RAF presence in the 20th century and parts of the neighbourhood have been used by the Ministry of Defence and related businesses, which helped shape the local economy alongside small industrial estates and light industry. Socially it’s a quiet community that relies on Corsham for shops, schools and pubs, but retains a distinct village character.
