Peterculter is a large village on the north bank of the River Dee, about seven miles west of Aberdeen city centre and within the Aberdeen City council area. Sitting on Deeside, it blends suburban housing with easy access to riverside paths and the popular Deeside Way, making it handy for both commuters and countryside visitors.
The community keeps a village feel with local shops, a primary school and active clubs - the local football side, Culter FC, is well known in the area. Historically part of the Deeside corridor served by the old railway, Peterculter has a mix of Victorian and modern housing and is popular with walkers, anglers and families who enjoy quick access to Royal Deeside while working in Aberdeen.
