Llanpumsaint is a small rural parish in Carmarthenshire, set in rolling upland countryside and wooded valleys a few miles from the River Gwili and the fringes of Brechfa Forest. The landscape is classic west Wales - mixed pasture and small farms - and attracts walkers and mountain bikers to quiet lanes and forest trails rather than mass tourism.
Its name literally means “church of five saints” and the parish retains a medieval church at its heart, reflecting long-standing local history and a strong sense of community.
