Clynnog is an electoral ward on the western side of the Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales, occupying a ribbon of rural and coastal countryside between Caernarfon and Pwllheli. Villages and hamlets in the ward sit among rolling farmland and shoreline, with the A499 providing the main link to neighbouring towns and offering views across to Snowdonia and out to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island).
The area is notable for its strong Welsh-speaking community and its historic centre, dominated by St Beuno's Church, an early medieval foundation long associated with pilgrimages to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island). Agriculture remains important to the local economy, supplemented by seasonal tourism attracted by the landscape and heritage; socially the ward is characterised by active community life in village halls and chapels and a keen interest in conserving the peninsula’s cultural and natural assets.
