Llwyngwril in Gwynedd, Wales is a small coastal village on the eastern side of Cardigan Bay, roughly between Tywyn and Barmouth. The settlement hugs the shoreline with a pebble beach and offers open sea views towards the Cambrian Mountains; it is also served by a request-stop on the Cambrian Coast Line.
Historically a fishing and farming community, Llwyngwril now leans on tourism and holiday accommodation - caravan parks and self-catering cottages are common - and attracts visitors for coastal walks and wildlife watching (the bay is noted for bottlenose dolphins). The village retains a small local heart of shops and a pub, with nearby historic churches in the parish of Llangelynnin, giving a mix of seasonal visitors and long-term residents.
